The Exploration Place and Fort george park
Fort George Park is Prince George’s most popular park and also the largest, it is home of the Rotary playground and
waterpark. The Exploration Place in Fort George Park, was built in the bowl, on the banks of the Fraser River, and
stands on the site of the original Hudson's Bay Trading Post. Take a ride on our Virtual Voyage Theatre, featuring the SimEx Motion Simulator, climb aboard the Conveyor, a sternwheeler replica and children's playground. The Exploration Place's Gallery is a place of discovery and, most of all, fun! Exploration Place is located at Fort PG or at Fort George Park. 333 Becott.
Inside the park you can find the small First Nation Cemetery called Lheidli T’enneh. Lheidli T’enneh means “People from where two rivers flow together” The Exploration Place gallery focuses on the natural history and environment of the region as well as on science exploration and is recommended for anyone with a sense of adventure!
Exploration place is full great staff, it has a cool structure, and it has lots of cultural value! People coming to Prince
George could visit the museum if they were coming to see family in Prince George, or they could come just for the museum itself. It’s not just a regular museum, only specializing in one type of exhibit, it has a variation of exhibits. Outside of the building, it has a cemetery, a playground and a stage that many various events happen on.

The upstairs of the building contains areas showing some things from Aboriginal past, and just from the past in general.
